53 Travis Road - Hyde Park, NY 12538

On a tranquil country lane in Hyde Park, New York, you will discover our Willows Bed and Breakfast.   We are Lisa and Lee Fraitag and we welcome you to our lovingly restored 1765 farmhouse in the heart of the beautiful and historic Hudson River Valley.

Our two guest rooms, The Stencil Room and The Green Room, are both quaintly furnished with antiques, quilts, and a distinct country charm. Each of our rooms have air-conditioning and both have private baths. There is a refrigerator/freezer with complimentary beverages provided for your enjoyment.

A Kuerig coffeemaker is in our dining room so you  will be able to enjoy freshly brewed coffee, tea, or hot chocolate whenever you would like. Free wifi internet access is provided as well.

We are centrally located in Dutchess County where you can dine at the Culinary Institute of America or other fine dining establishments, visit Franklin D. Roosevelt’s Home and Museum, the FDR Presidential Library, Eleanor Roosevelt’s Val-Kill Home, Vanderbilt Mansion and the “Great Estates” Region. We are also near Marist College, Vassar College, Bard College and SUNY New Paltz.

Our newest area attraction is the Walkway Over The Hudson and it is not to be missed! There is antique shopping, farmers markets as well as other outdoor activities are here for you to enjoy.

Savor a full and hearty breakfast prepared by Lee, a Culinary Institute of America graduate. Lee was featured on an episode of the Food Network’s “Tyler’s Ultimate” television show, where he made “The Willows Raised Apple Pancake”. Indulge yourself with freshly squeezed juice, homemade jams and sausages. Many of our breakfasts include vegetables and herbs from our own garden, the jams made from fruit picked at nearby farms. All breads are made from home-ground flours and are served with home-churned butter. Lee is a beekeeper so we have honey from our own beehives!

There is a two night minimum on weekends and holidays for the months of May through October.

“Our large green attic bedroom was filled with an astonishing and often humorous collection of rural ephemera. The solid breakfast the next morning included homemade whole wheat bread, homemade sausages, a frittata stuffed with home grown vegetables, excellent homemade raspberry and strawberry jams, and honey from the Fraitags’ own beehives.”
